TableMap – Terms of Use

Welcome to TableMap. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TableMap platform and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service in any capacity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Overview of the Service

TableMap is designed to support restaurants, cafes, bars, and similar venues in managing their seating operations and reservation workflows. The Service provides features such as floor plan creation, reservation and waitlist management, staff access controls, operational analytics, and an embeddable reservation widget that enables customers to book tables directly from a venue's website. Additional features, including QR table ordering and POS integrations, may be introduced in the future.

2. Account Registration & Security

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Access to TableMap should be granted only to authorized members of your business. Account sharing, transferring, or sublicensing without TableMap's explicit permission is strictly prohibited.

3. User Content

You may upload or create content within the Service, including venue names, logos, images, floor plans, descriptions, and operational data. You retain ownership of all content you submit. By using the Service, you grant TableMap a non-exclusive right to store, process, and display this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. You represent and warrant that your content does not infringe upon third-party rights and complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Use of the Service

The Service may be used only for its intended operational purposes, such as managing reservations, configuring table layouts, granting staff access, and embedding the reservation widget on your venue's website. You may not use the Service, or any part of it, to build or support a competing product. Any attempt to copy the interface, functionality, or design of TableMap; to reverse engineer, decompile, or inspect the Service's code; or to extract data for competitive, analytical, or unauthorized purposes is strictly prohibited.

5. Service Availability & Maintenance

TableMap strives to ensure that the Service is available and functioning reliably. However, uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure updates, or unforeseen technical issues may result in temporary service interruptions. TableMap is not liable for operational disruptions, loss of revenue, missed reservations, or any other damages arising from downtime, maintenance, or system failures.

6. Payments

Payments and subscription renewals are governed separately under TableMap's Billing Terms, which are shared with customers inside the application. TableMap processes subscription payments through Stripe on a monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access will continue in accordance with the Billing Terms.

7. Termination

TableMap reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in misuse, fail to make required payments, or compromise the security or stability of the platform. Upon termination, your access may be revoked immediately. TableMap may retain certain information where required by law or for legitimate operational purposes.

8. Intellectual Property

The TableMap platform—including its software, design, visual elements, brand, trademarks, user interface, and underlying technology—is owned exclusively by TableMap. These elements may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or used to create derivative works. Your use of the Service grants you only a limited, non-transferable right to access and utilize the platform within the scope of these Terms.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TableMap disclaims all liability for:

• Loss of profits, bookings, or business opportunities
• Operational disruptions caused by system downtime or third-party failures
• Errors resulting from incomplete or inaccurate venue data submitted by users
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

10. Governing Law & Changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms will be resolved exclusively by UK courts.

TableMap may update or amend these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to users. Continued use of the Service following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
