How the trial period works
Learn how our 14-day free trial works, how to manage your guest limits, and the simple steps to transition to a full TableMap subscription.
The TableMap free trial is designed for restaurant owners to explore our platform’s full suite of management tools. It’s a 14-day, no-obligation period that allows you to get your system perfectly configured before going live.
What’s included in the trial
During your 14-day trial, you have full internal access to all professional features. This allows you to:
- Configure your restaurant: Customise your floor plans, set up table groups, and manage staff accounts.
- Test the workflow: Create and manage walk-in or manual bookings directly from your TableMap dashboard.
- Explore analytics: Access reporting tools to see how TableMap tracks your restaurant's performance.
Note on Guest Limits: To ensure platform security, certain guest-facing features are restricted during the trial. Your restaurant will not appear on public TableMap listings, the online reservation widget will remain inactive, and automated guest SMS notifications will not be sent.
Can I end the trial early to go live?
Yes! If you have finished your setup and want to start taking online bookings and sending SMS immediately, you can end your trial and start your full subscription at any time.
Simply navigate to Admin > Billing > Trial & guest limits and select "End trial and bill me".
Do I need a credit card?
Yes, a valid credit or debit card is required to start your trial. However, no charge will be made during the 14-day trial period. We collect this information to ensure a seamless transition to a full subscription and to maintain the security of our network.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your trial lasts for exactly 14 days. Unless you manually end the trial early or choose to cancel, your paid subscription will automatically begin on Day 15. At this point, all guest limits are removed, and your restaurant goes live.
How to cancel before you’re charged
If TableMap isn't the right fit for your business, you can cancel at any time before the 15th day to avoid any charges:
- Go to the Admin section in the side menu.
- Expand the Billing tab and select Trial & guest limits.
- Scroll to the bottom and follow the prompts under "Cancel trial and deactivate restaurant".
