You have the right to ask us to delete your TableMap account and the personal data we hold about you. This is sometimes called the "right to erasure" or the "right to be forgotten" under UK GDPR and EU GDPR.
How to request deletion
To delete your account and personal data, email support@tablemap.com with the subject "Account deletion request".
To help us verify the request, please send the email from the address associated with your account, or clearly state that address in your message. We may ask for additional information to confirm your identity before we act on the request.
What happens next
We aim to acknowledge your request within 48 hours and to complete it within 30 days, as required by UK GDPR. If your request is particularly complex, we may extend this period and will let you know.
Once the request is completed, we will delete or anonymise the personal data we hold about you.
Data we may retain
In line with our Privacy Policy, we may need to retain certain information after your account is deleted, where we are legally required or otherwise permitted to do so. This includes:
- Financial and transaction records we must keep to meet legal and tax obligations
- Information needed to prevent fraud or resolve disputes
- Data we are required to keep by law
Where we keep such records, we retain only what is necessary and, where possible, anonymise the data so it can no longer be linked to you.
